How to Burn Tokens on Arc Chain

This guide explains how to permanently burn tokens on Arc Chain with ArcBurner to reduce the token supply - from connecting your wallet to verifying the completed burn.

Open ArcBurner

What does burning a token mean?

Burning permanently removes tokens from circulation through an on-chain transaction. A completed burn cannot be reversed, so always verify the token contract address and amount before approving it. You will also need enough native USDC on Arc Chain to cover the burn fee and network gas.

How to burn tokens with ArcBurner

1

Connect your wallet

Open ArcBurner and select Connect Wallet. Choose a compatible wallet, approve the connection, and make sure it is set to Arc Chain.

2

Find your tokens

Select Auto-Detect to load all tokens held by your connected address. If a token is missing, paste its contract address into the manual token field and select Add.

3

Enter the burn amount

Find the token you want to destroy and enter the quantity. Use MAX only when you intend to burn the entire displayed balance.

4

Approve the token

Select Burn and confirm the approval request in your wallet. This permits the burner contract to burn only the amount required for the transaction.

5

Confirm and verify the burn

Confirm the second wallet transaction to complete the burn. After it is mined, use the displayed transaction link or an Arc Chain explorer to verify the result on-chain.

Before you confirm

Check the network, token address, amount, and wallet prompts. Never burn a token you may need later.

Verify on-chain

Review the transaction hash in an Arc Chain block explorer. On-chain records provide independent confirmation that the transaction completed.
